We are passionate about community! Not just the local community of The Gold Coast, but the love of a community that grows as we walk in a common direction. The best way to start and continue in your walk of discovering Jesus is in relationship with others. Here are three types of groups that we have in our church:

Alpha/Discussion Group Nights

Alpha is a series for people who are asking the big questions about God and life — “what’s the point of life?”, “is there more to life than this?”, “is there really a God out there?” etc.
Alpha is a non-threatening and relaxed setting for you and your friends to ask the big questions about life and Jesus. The nights consist of eating food, watching one of the Alpha videos and discussing the content.
Do you have questions that you want answered? Ask them; there are no bad questions.
Alpha is run in small groups at various times throughout the year in homes and at our Sunday night service and are a great way to start exploring Jesus and Christianity.

Connect Groups

These are groups which will give you pastoral care, grow your friendships and aid your spiritual growth.
The bones of a connect night are food, spiritual discussion and prayer. They meet as often as fortnightly, but at least monthly.

Discipleship Groups

These groups are for people who are launching deep into their walk with Jesus and want to be proactively mentored. People find that they grow most when in a discipleship group; especially in their relationship with Jesus.

Alpha Groups for people wanting answers to life’s questions.

Every connect group leader is in a discipleship group.
Every discipleship group member has goal to lead a connect group, alpha group or ministry team.
